A huge thank you to Mia Dalglish from Pictura Gallery for this thoughtful write-up about Blood Line on the CURIOUS Photo-blog. Click the link to read the whole feature.
Well, hello Brazil!
I just found out that I’m a Top 20 Finalist of the 11th International Festival of Photography of Porto Alegre (FestFoto), which makes me quite happy!
Blood Line will be part of the “Genres in Transit: Frontier Photography” projection exhibit, which will be shown at FestFoto next month.
So this is not the new work…
Nevertheless, I do love this new staged vignette.
Absolutely over the moon to hear that I am a PhotoLucida Critical Mass Finalist this year again, this time with work from Blood Line!!
A huge thank you to all the pre-screeners! I am incredibly honored to be in the company of such wonderful artists, many I am lucky to call my friends. I did not sleep much last night from all the excitement!
I was delighted to attend the opening of the 35th Annual Juried Membership Exhibition at the Houston Center for Photography and to then participate to the Artists Talks the next day. The show was juried and curated by Dr Rebecca Senf, Chief Curator at the Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, AZ and Norton Family Curator at the Phoenix Art Museum.
