Hannah Frieser of the CPW features Blood Line on FotoMAGAZIN on instagram

July 1, 2018 By Anne-Laure Autin

A big thank you to Hannah Frieser of the fabulous Center for Photography at Woodstock for having featured Blood Line images during her instagram take-over of the fabulous-as-well German FotoMAGAZIN.

which google-translates into “I like the slightly playful element that is woven into Anne-Laure Autin’s project. It makes the grief associated with the loss of a parent or grandfather a little more bearable and helps to deal with it. The details stitched with surgical sutures by hand bring the photographer even closer to this project. She is the daughter who is losing a parent. She is the mother who is unable to protect her children from the brutality of deep mourning. ”
